Medicare

The Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) Plan provides an instant Medicare rebate for patients with chronic and complex conditions. EPC plans are prepared by your GP. A total of five (5) services per patient each calendar year.

Health Funds

The majority of private health funds in Australia cover Podiatry services. Direct claiming through HICAPS enables you to receive your private health insurance rebate instantly.

VETERAN AFFAIRS

Podiatrists are registered to provide services to veterans, including treatment, biomechanical assessment, prescription orthotics and footwear referrals.

WORKERS' COMPENSATION

Foot or ankle related accidents/injuries at work, may be claimed through workers’ compensation. Pre-approval for Podiatry services is required for all workers compensation cases.

NATIONAL DISABILITY INSURANCE SCHEME

The NDIS is Australia’s first national scheme for people with disability. It provides funding directly to individuals. Pre-approval for Podiatry services is required for all NDIS cases.
